Making a Contact Sheet with Bridge

Step 1: Plug your camera's image card into the computer and open Bridge.

Step 2: Go to "Window" > "Workspace" > "Reset Standard Workspaces"

Step 3: Use the "Favorites" and "Content" Panels to navigate to your images until they show up in the content panel.

Step 4: Select the images you want to include on your contact sheet by clicking on the first image, holding the shift key down and clicking on the last image.

Step 5: Open the Output panel by going to "Window" > "Workspace" > "Output".

Step 6: Once the Output panel appears to the right of the workspace you may choose a 4x5 contact sheet from the "Template" drop down menu and then scroll through all the settings below making adjustments where needed. To preview what you've done you can click the "Refresh Preview" button.

Step 7: When you are done setting up your Contact Sheet press "Save..." at the bottom of the Output panel. And save it to your disk.

Step 8: You can now open the contact sheet in Adobe Acrobat and go to "File" > "Print". Make sure the printer is set to the 1400 or 800 depending on the model you are printing to and press "Print" after you have loaded your paper in the printer.

Step 9: If everything worked out perfectly. Give your neighbor a hug and then if the Lab Aid looks sad, give him or her a hug as well.
